The article considers the features of authenticity evaluation of Scythian gold using historical, stylistic and technological indicators. Principal kinds of the Scythian period jewellery and ways of their manufacture, specificity of art and material expertise in the course of scientific attribution and identification as procedural components of authenticity evaluation are defined.
