THE CHOICE OF ICE-CREAM PACKAGE ACCORDING TO MERCHANDIZING PRINCIPLES
 
The article deals with the types of modern packing materials and consumer containers for ice-cream. There have been presented the results of the research of complex quality indicator according to organoleptic, physicochemical and microbiological indicators of the new kinds of ice-cream for sportsmen of the product line "Time out" during 6 months storage term, packed in different kinds of consumer containers. According to the merchandising principles and the results of the research there has been determined the optimal kind of consumer container – cups made of polystyrene with caps; image orientation of package decoration is also determined.
